When specifying a mask for a template, you can use the Define Calculated Mask icon in the Calculated Mask field to select the terms for calculating a mask.

The top left pane is the mask for the object number (code.) For Documents, the top right pane is the mask for the middle field.

The object's data and related information are accessible as clickable fields from items in the center pane.
